Until it's been properly released we can only speculate.

Especially, I am looking forward to hear Victory. I really dont know what kind of song this. It might be a ballad, I guess...

Ì hope they will go through with this but the confirmation is on Brian's website. Finally something exciting happening and something to look forward to. I think it will be on the official Queen online website soon. I am curious about 3 things, the artwork, the album title and most of all, the tracklist.

I think this is definitely something to look forward to since MIH.
Maybe, we can make a list of songs which are (almost) confirmed now:

-State of shock (confirmed)
-There must be more to life than this (confirmed)
-Victory (confirmed)
-Let me in your heart again (probably on it, mentioned during convention?)
-Man made paradise (probably on it, mentioned during convention?)
-Take a piece of my heart (was on great pretender dvd, maybe a good reason)

Suggestion:
- It's in every one of us (studio recording) (would fit perfectly on this ballads/duet compilation album)

Ok real quick.
a. I can almost guarantee that Victory will NOT be on there. From what I have heard they couldn't do much with it if they wanted to.
b. Not everything that is on Brian's site is truth. Brian's only real oversight is on his soapbox. The web master simply posts articles that appear in the media about Queen even if they are rumors. So the reprinting of an article is in NO WAY confirmation.
c, Wait for a press release. THEN and ONLY then will you know anything is confirmed. There is NOTHING confirmed at this point except that Brian and Roger are working on tracks that have Freddie's vocals on them. These include (and may only be) the Jackson tracks. They have worked with William Orbit and Chris Thomas. Anything else is simply speculation.

I'm not saying I don't believe you.

I'm simply saying that even the best sources are wrong at times. And they might not even be wrong. They may be dead on right at this moment in time. But until the press release, things change. I believe there is an album of some kind in the works and there is no denying there are tracks being worked on.

But tomorrow Brian and/or Roger could say Fuck it, I want to go on holiday - maybe in 5 years we'll revisit it.

So until there is a press release everything is speculation. I hope your source is correct, believe me. But this is the way things go here....People get little tidbits of info and the ball starts rolling and soon what started out from tidbits will have the band producing a completely new album and going on a world tour and then producing a Live Killers Box Set all before giving us the fabled anthologies...

And then in a few months time, we get a ballad compilation with the 2 jackson tracks as bonus tracks.

Speculation is fun and all but once people start saying things like "confirmed" - that means something else and is how rumors get turned into "facts" when they weren't much more than rumors in the first place.

Hate to be a killjoy, but even AFTER there's been a press release it doesn't guarantee a release! (see Hammersmith 75 DVD)
