Indeed. According to your profile you've been here for at least 3 years, Kevin, so you should have had enough time to familiarize yourself with the board members' mentality here as it is. In all seriousness, we've had SO many WUM's over the years it's not totally unreasonable that we've acquired an automatically uber skeptical approach to anyone (bar perhaps some of the oldest, most established members whose reputations have been consistently solid?) who comes forwards with any sort of claims without anything to back them up.
Here's a fair suggestion regardless of the validity, Kevin: If your sources are THAT cagey about being named or described, it's probably best not to disclose those claims in public -at all-. Otherwise you'll end up with the reputation of other WUM's like eg. theCro

What you have to remember is that inu-liger is the de-facto voice of the board - he speaks for all of us and knows exactly what we would think to a comment or rumor.

On the contrary, I'm aware of a thing or two currently NOT in public fan knowledge, and I could have been in a position in the past a few times over the last few years where I could have spoiled things, but chose not to as part of consistently trying to build good relations with certain people.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I actually do honour a type of obligation that some of you would call a "gentleman's agreement" :-)
