I prefer the Highlander version and I do like "A Kind of Vision" as well, even if unfinished.

Of course the single version was a good choice for a release at the time and it's charting positions show that.

As for live versions, I prefer the recent ones with Roger and Brian enjoying the hell out of themselves on the B Stage. I have to single out Buenos Aires 2008 for that matter. I was lucky to be there to witness the magic. That, of course, affects my judgment.

I listened to the Mannheim version a couple of days ago and in this version the bass can be beautifully heard.
There are a couple of lines by John that are so wonderful, with that unique playing of him.

John's playing was really perfect for the band, I'd describe it as playful irony :-)

Nice pop song. The original sounds like a good Demo. So I'll go with the album version, nice Guitar parts from Brian. Has more of a Groove to it. Not one of my favorites of course, but still a good song. The best verson is live, when freddie was having one of his better nights. Those live versions blow me away. Reminds me of 70's Queen.
