I couldn't possibly dislike you more mooghead, but I actually agree with you this time.

Thanks, a very good interview indeed. Looking back, I think that if Queen was ever to be reformed, then it should have happened then, in 1998. John was still in and I think they were all in fine form, both physically and artistically. I'm not saying that reforming Queen was ever a good idea, but eventually it did happen, albeit a bit too late for me. However, as the interview proves, Brian had a completely different look on this back then, but they probably did think about it after "No-One But You" sessions and that Elton John performance in Paris.

Started digitalizing my old videotapes and found this interview. Hope you'll enjoy. :D
Aaah new stuff. This makes me happy. Thanks for sharing! I find it so fascinating the way so many people must have things lying around on videotapes which we haven't seen at all in years.

Great to see this again. I've got in on VHS somewhere, but no player anymore. I remember including the audio to this on a bootleg of the 1998 acoustic shows in Rome and/or Paris. Unbelievable that there was a time when almost half an hour was spent on Dutch TV without music, commercial breaks etc talking to Brian May :D
