Hi!
Today i realize that It´s a long time i don´t post here... well, the fact is that i was "cleaning" my hard drive when i`ve found some intresting videos (usually rips from my own vhs).
I wanna know if this video (is only a song i`ll share a sample) is something worth, or if is the same (or worst) quality that the one already shared here. Personally i think the video is OK but the audio is... i have no words really :-) (too much compressed, but i have no time to re-transfer my vhs)
if you consider this video as a improve respect the others versions, i´ll share the full gig (whathever in .mkv or .vob) in a next future. If you think it isn`t a improve i`ll erase it of my pc.
The video:

Seems like it's denoised a bit too much. There is also something wrong done during the encoding. I checked the video's information and scan type is progressive. But it's clearly interlaced. I think the encoding settings were somehow mixed up.
I can't de-interlace it without creating these artifacts. It can be only de-interlaced with "blend" mode, but as you may know blending sucks. Interpolating all the way!
I also see the signs of removed logo. So someone has clearly tried to remaster it.
So these are just my 2 cents :-)
I'm gonna guess that the source used for this remaster was this one. And I am quite postive it can be processed way better than that. Perhaps this could be my next project :-)
