One of the best - or maybe even THE BEST of Freddie's solo songs

Queen could release their own faeces and some fans would lap it up (literally)

It's alright. It's no 'Stop All The Fighting'

I'm guessing that at least 50% of Freddie's nomination is due to the fact that the song was pasted onto a 60 year old silent movie...

and those lyrics...wahay!
think Gorgio thought he was writing for Donna Summer :-)
would love to hear those original lyrics that are on the album sleeve - but didn't make the final cut

Although I don't consider it an amazing song, I don't understand all the hate for it. I think it's an ok song.

I really like Love Kills. Is it "great"? Well, in comparison to Delilah, perhaps.....in comparison to MOTBQ, no. I dunno - but I really like it anyway.
And no, I wouldn't lap up anything Queen/Freddie released - there's plenty of duffers in their catalogue that Al Qaeda could see to.

It might not make that much sense for younger people or strict rockers. For me, a fan of synthpop in the 80s almost as much as rock, it is a masterpiece. I MEAN it :)
Cheers,

And Moroder was also responsible for Phil Oakley's "Together In Electric Dreams" which is appalling lyrically, but musically quite cool :)
