Just for fun. The characters in the Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke appear in the painting while Freddie sings the song.

In YouTube chose the highest resolution.

after the song, the individual characters are displayed.

True, but that is in another painting, called The Fairy Feller's Mastur-Bate I think.

The Fairy Feller - Master Stroker?
Not Plutus but Apollo rules Parnassus

Excellent - Love it!
But some characters are missing or don't seem quite right.
Like the sailor for example.
....and where are Mab and the Nymph?

For a High res image of the painting:

Kurgan, did you see the figures I show After the song?
Queen Mab is the tiny red figure just left from the Arch Magician's crown (The Patriarch) and the nymph is standing next to the Fairy Dandy. (He's tickling her fancy)
Also the sailor is correct. They are all standing in line just as Freddie sings about them, Soldier Sailor Tinker Tailor Ploughboy.

All figures are pointed out according to the Original poem written by Richard Dadd, the painter.
So there are no mistakes.

Some people call the Monk next to the Fairy Feller "Monk Ploughman", but the Ploughman is standing behind the Monk.

btw I do have a high quality reproduction of the painting. I bought it at the Tate Gallery where the picture is.

Thanks Rien, I'm sorry, I do see them all now!
So the Nymph is also the Quaere fellow?
Once again, excellent job!

Oh, and the high res link wasn't directed at you personally.
Just for anyone else who might be interested : )

..........and the poem can be found here:
