That's what's stopping me. I got my lovely wife material for 6 years now, but since we can't afford our own place yet, we have to wait before moving on with the marriage thing.

We just want somewhere to rent -- lots of reasons for moving out of where he is now (including that he has extended family living with him at the moment)... but there isn't really anywhere near his work available at the moment :/
