Ok, as promised here is the third chapter in my guide to the different song versions of Queen. This time it's Sheer Heart Attack.

If you haven't read the first thread I would suggest you check that out here: http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1355033/the-queen-fanthology-chapter-one-queen.aspx. It contains a lot of background information on the project that make the chapters a little easier to read.

As always, if you have any questions, additions or corrections please reply and I'll do my best to answer.

My thanks again to Soxtalon for proof reading this chapter.

Didn't JSS do these years ago?

I think there may be a small typo on the Stone Cold Crazy track details - BBC Session 5 (4:12)?

Yes, and a lot more information has come to light since then. Way to be constructive.

Yes, there are a very exciting discover for which I take no credit (that belongs to the person who bought the tapes). There is also a reel to reel recording of Sweet Lady, which just like In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited, doesn't fade out when you expect it to.

I love these, Those who say there isn't enough material for an expansive anthology, even without the usual re-hashing of hits is out of their mind.

I'd like 2 box sets.

1- Rarities

2- A DVD and/or CD box set. One complete concert for every tour they did. Bonus tracks could include songs from that tour not on the selected concert.

I know there has to be video/audio for at least one show per tour.

About In the Lap of the Gods Hollywood Records version - "If you listen very carefully you’ll notice that at the start of the track some of the backing vocals have been edited out" - You don't need to listen very carefully at all, its like a sledgehammer to the senses.
