I have seen this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXFdKYAoE8k and I never heard before this unique version of "on my way up" so I was just wondering if anybody has a better version...

That link is not for on my way up?

yes, is the studio version of on my way up, but it was sung and played live by brian with vocal melodies and guitar parts different than the album version

I'm still confused.

I'm not really sure.
Besides France, I have another three TV appearances of this song.
On Spanish TV he has the red special, in Italy and Monaco he doesn't.
The vob file I have of the French TV appearance is unfortunately not very good quality (See below)

This is how I came by the date, it's a little bit complicated!

Check the comments for this clip, somebody mentions "Dimanche Martin"
