Yes, yes ... I know this is an official release. But if the official release had better audio, this recording would be obsolete. So I reckon it should circulate. If anyone is still running this website and they want me to pull the links, I'll oblige.
To my ears this is the best-sounding document of the show, better than any bootleg and even the official releases (the keyboard-heavy, almost guitar-less mix). Some versions are missing the first half of Liar and all of Dragon Attack, but both are intact on this radio broadcast. For those of us whose native language isn't Japanese, the DJ listing off the song titles during the Machines intro is worth the price of admission alone.
Thanks to Mr. Scully (www.queenconcerts.com) for supplying the recording.
1. Machines (intro)
2. Tear It Up
3. Tie Your Mother Down
4. Under Pressure
5. Somebody To Love
6. Killer Queen
7. Seven Seas Of Rhye
8. Keep Yourself Alive
9. Liar
10. impromptu
11. It's A Hard Life
12. Dragon Attack
13. Now I'm Here
Disc 2:
1. Is This The World We Created?
2. Love Of My Life
3. Another One Bites The Dust
4. Mustapha (intro)
5. Hammer To Fall
6. Crazy Little Thing Called Love
7. Bohemian Rhapsody
9. Radio Ga Ga
9. I Want To Break Free
10. Jailhouse Rock
11. We Will Rock You
12. We Are The Champions
13. God Save The Queen
Enjoy, and convert to lossy only for your own (ab)use!

Oh thank you! It's interesting if Brighton Rock was played this night or it was omitted from broadcast and official video?

The guitar solo and the Brighton Rock are omitted on all the sources of this show (including this one).
Pretty underrated show overall: Awesome Impromptu (one of the best), Radio Ga Ga is great, It's A Hard Life is pretty gutsy from Freddie (going for a decent amount of Bb4s), and Tear It Up's one of the better versions from the tour.
So glad we got this show in the best possible quality, thanks Bob/Mr. Scully!

Also forgot, Hammer To Fall is great (great bridge vocals by Freddie)!

Definitive version of Dragon Attack too, I'd say.
The impromptu is even better on video. Mercury owns it.

I'm inclined to think it was performed. I guess they didn't feel like playing a ~7 minute guitar solo on the radio. But again, it's on the Mannheim 86 broadcast, so what do I know ?!

Thanks to Mr. Scully and Bob - hope it's not the same Mr. Scully who's lost his passion for Queen and is now taping and sharing Bon Jovi gigs on Dime :-(
