ok...is anybody thinking that Queen might do a song with Katy Perry at the iheart festival...
She's a huge Queen fan, adores Freddie, named her perfume Killer Queen and performed Don't Stop Me Now at an iheart event in 2009...
Personally I think they might as well (I'd rather see them perform with a rocker but it just seems to make great sense)

I certainly hope not
it is also a ridiculous idea to do a show with adam lambert. they don't need a new so called singer every time they do a show. brian and roger can do a nice concert with just the two of them. backed by spike edney, danny miranda and jamie moses. singing songs from their own solo catologue. but they have to stop using different singers every time. you would almost forget who was their real singer.
I really would rather not they ever perform with Katy Perry. She is a terrible singer live, in that she just cannot hold solid pitch. Even her renditions of "Don't Stop Me Now" consistently get way more thumbs down than up on YouTube!
Brian hopes that they get asked by ANY artist to collaborate - its the only way he believes that the band's name can have any relevance. Hence you get these ridiculous combinations where some rubbish junior gets to stroke the ego of an ageing rockstar and make them feel wanted.
Ouch.
Quit telling it like it is.
After all, I still LIKE the guys!
(Queen + Jack in the box)
(Queen + Miley Virus)

I'd lick her boots but keep her the fuck away from Queen music.
I said it best on a Youtube video of her covering Don't Stop Me Now. "Please stop this now". Even her fucking fans were agreeing with me.

Please just ask Matt Bellamy
Isn't that guy from .fun?

I sincerely hope this happens, even just for one song.

Really? There's someone who doesn't know that Freddie Mercury sang on every Queen hit?
This is a high profile gig with a bunch of pop singers. With regards to exposure, collaborating with Lambert is a very smart move. Regardless of what a bunch of people in a 70s and 80s time warp think, Lambert is a very capable singer.
This and the olympic closing ceremonies demonstrate that Brian and Roger know how to keep themselves in public consciousness.

Considering that the headline for that link is "Fun. frontman to perform with Queen," I'm thinking so.
That could work out wonderfully.
I really really really really hate Katy Perry.
Honestly, in my personal opinion, there are two singers can do it.
One, George Michael (but I couldn't imagine him singing the hard rock songs), second, Pat Briggs from Psychotica(but is very underrated and unknown singer).
But, at least, Queen died in 199, an Queen+ to me is a joke. Specially with Adam Lambert. Is funny how Brian always said he wanted more hard rock in the 80's queen stuff, and now he collaborates with every single pop garbage star in the planet.
