Well, public tv in Spain is not the best of the world...comparing to BBC, who is one of the best.
But is bad not for the politics, is bad because they have bad journalist in generla! hahaha.

I saw Heroes Del Silencio here in Los Angeles in 2008. Not my cup of tea, but I wouldn't mind seeing La Union or Hombres G though...

But even the Beeb are a tapestry now IMO. A lot of what they do is great, but a lot of what they do is not. A couple of days ago they wasted 10-15 minutes talking about air guitar and interviewing an air guitar world champion or something like that, all the way from America ... I mean, isn't there anything else worth broadcasting? Any wars, shipwrecks, financial news, etc.?

i have always wondered if freddie wears the spanish flag in madrid and marbella, never seen a pic..that marbella concert by the way wasnt promoted by pino..
i would have liked to speak to mercader, so many things to ask about those 4 gigs..he's a legend...he's kind of retired now i believe.
i have some spanish press clippings from 1976 talking about an spanish tour that year too..
popular 1 is one of the best european music magazines of the seventies.Bertha always rocked and she was a good freddies friend, she went to many parties and birthdays..

Héroes del Silencio are like The Cult or The Mission, first goth rock, later hard rock. They were a good band in the active years, the comeback was stadium rock for money.
