"A new Queen album is also on the table, after uncovering some of the band's old forgotten tapes (which include collaborations between Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury, the band's lead singer who died in 1991).
"The music is there and it's great, and I think people will really enjoy it," May says of the album, which is aiming for a summer 2014 release. "We keep finding more and more tapes, so we'll certainly be working on stuff that sounds like new Queen tracks in the next few months. It's exciting."

I believe it when I hold it in my hands. So MANY Queen products were both rumoured and officially confirmed and never released

Is that after the Ballads album, live at the Rainbow CD and DVD, Rogers possible handfull of live dates, The Kerry Ellis album Brian has mentioned in passing over the last year?
We live in hope, I guess, but their is almost more chance of them touring with John Deacon on Bass and Lemmy on vocals!

Good to see the official Queen Archivists have done such a thorough job in the last 20 years if new tapes keep turning up.

If true I think the ballad album will go out the window, I also have the feeling that Brian & Roger have been working on various tracks for a few years now, and with Roger going thru his archive for " the lot " more forgotten tracks have appeared, and hey Preston we have enough good quality for an album, can't see a summer release though, Roger will be distracted by his solo album and tour, and Brian will be busy with the Kerry stuff and possible tour. It's still great news though, so much to look forward to, just like the old days : )

Roger don't want nothing to do with Queen records now! He lost interest.
What about Brian, fingers crossed that this is not another one not materialized project in future what he promised.

I wish to god that before they release things from the archives that they do at least one new studio l.p. with some other recording artists. It would make the catalog a lot more interesting and better in the long run.

In september, Brian told iHeart Radio: “We thought we’d exhausted everything that was around and could be worked on but since then a number of things have come to light from various sources that we’d just plain forgotten about, including stuff with Freddie and Michael Jackson.”

"Dr. Brian May ?@DrBrianMay 11 Sept
We'll have a think, and maybe throw in something surprising. I note a lot of desire out there for David Bowie to join us. T'would be cool."
What is he talking about ?

Weren't there Some unfinished demo's with David Bowie from the hot space sessions? So we could have Bowie, Jackson, Steward and Gibb on one album together singing with Freddie
