So many years have passed, and I still get so sad this time of year. Freddie wasn't my favorite member of Queen, but I still miss him so much.
Damn it! Freddie should have lived to be one of those aging rockers, still proving he's still got it. Then with his hair all gray, or gone, he should have been sitting in his rocking chair, reminiscing of the "good old days, darling."
I still remember you Freddie, you are the greatest showman of rock.
I still love you.

You're joking, aren't you?!
No - you actually said something worth saying for a change, and it was clearly heart-felt and genuine. That's not usually like you (sorry to say) so it was a bit of a surprise. Keep this up and you might actually be accepted. I hope this is not cue for a barrage of insults now :)
No, I am not gonna insult you. Don't worry, if you like my post I'm glad, really.

Freddie, one of a kind for sure. I am in awe of the way he still affects people to this day...and certainly will for years to come. I knew of Queen back in the day and liked them but they didn't get under my skin until recent years. Never a week goes by that I don't have a little Queen or Freddie in my life! Always lifts me up. For this I'm forever thankful.
Wearing a Queen T-shirt to commerate today - and graced a special smile when I heard The Great Pretender on Absolute Radio. I have a sneaking suspicion the DJ was paying tribute.
When freddie died it's been 2 years since I was listening to Queen,I remember a friend in school told me about it in the morning, later I saw it on the news, back then I couldn't realize much, now I believe that Freddie belongs in a very small club of people who just couldn't fade away....they had to explode like a supernova,to burn out, that's the category of true superstars
I just ran across this on youtube...pretty amusing. Poor Mary! Can you imagine having to deal with this year after year?? Apparently a group gathered at Garden Lodge to sing BoRhap
