Essentially, yes. Most serious theologians of Islam, Christianity and Judaism agree that their god is the same, and all anthropologists of any standing do so. These three religions also share the majority of their prophets (Christianity adds Jesus to Judaism, Islam adds Mohammed to Christianity). While Islam does not explicitly use either the Old or New Testaments, the contents of the Quran are very similar to those of the Jewish and Christian books. Although there is no certainty there, it is interesting to speculate how Mohammed saw himself. If Islamic tradition is to be believed, he believed himself to be "a Hanif [= Abrahamic monotheist in pre-Islamic Arabia] and one of the descendants of Ishmael, son of Abraham", making him essentially Jewish.

Yeah, just don't mention any of this to Jewish, Christian or Islamic fundamentalists. They tend to be a little...hostile...to people who don't take their interpretations at face-value...you know, God is love, the religion of peace and all that, but only when it's convenient...
