Brian & Kerry's new album & Montreux DVD is now available for Pre-order on Kerry Ellis's Pledge website.

Some nice packages if you are a Kerry Fan, including a VIP package for a "Candlelight concert 2014 gig"

Looks like she's trying to raise some money!!!

It doesn't say Brian & Kerry album. Technically Anthems wasn't a Brian & Kerry album. It was a Kerry Ellis album. This new one will also be the same I think. For example nothing mentions Brian - even the Candlelight Concert or the Montreux DVD. I would bet it's a record label thing.

I think the interesting bit is the statement:-

"Your Pledge will also give you free access to my Pledgers Only Updates Page – a free backstage area – in which I’ll be posting, demos, photos, rough mixes, videos and anything I can think of as a reward for those who pre-order!"

Hopefully that means some new "Demos & Rough Mixes" to feature Brian will happen.

+ does that mean 2014 will be a busy year?

2014 Brian & Kerry Candlelight tour
2014 Roger Tour (If it Happens????)
2014 Queen + Adam Lambert tour
2014 Brian & Kerry "Anthems 2" Tour (??????)

^ 3 tours involving Brian in one year as well as work on another Queen album (if the conjecture is to be believed)? DREAM ON!!!!

are you asuming that the 3 tours are going to be on a grand scale like the 2008 Q+PR tour?

Because the 2014 Candlelight tour is nothing more than a handfull of dates, the 2012 Q+AL tour was again nothing more than a handfull of dates, so who is to say that if any tour happens in the future that it will be nothing more than a few dates?

I agree with your DREAM ON statement if you have the afore knowlege that any future tour will be a "Full On" tour. Personally these days, whatever will be, will be, let's just go with the flow.

And if we're really lucky, Boger might squeeze all of these into the same dates.

Can you imagine anything better than a double header of Queen + Adam Lambert + Kerry Ellis, with Roger doing a few solo songs as a warm up act...

^ I'm not assuming anything. In general, I try not to make assumptions.

When it comes to this board, why is it that any mention of an album - whether confirmed or conjecture, automatically leads to speculation/fantasy about potential tours? Why must an album = a tour? (or even thoughts of?)

When something is confirmed, you've a few reactions to choose from: either you're excited and definitely on the bandwagon, disappointed but going with it anyway, indifferent to the whole thing, dead against it....whatever.

Until then, as you say, go with the flow :-)

Agreed, the "Album = Tour" does tend to get people all excited, But Kerry does seem to be the only thing Musically that Brian is overly passionate about these days.

Roger on the other hand, I personally don't think a tour is on the cards now. I do 100% hope I am wrong...Most likely go on tour again with Taylor Hawkins!!! like he did last time ;-)

^ don't get me wrong, I hope they do go on tour as often as possible. I personally don't like the Queen+AL thing, so definitely won't attend. The Candlelight thing is too sweetly sickening, so I'd probably skip that - however, I'd love to see Roger on tour and a full-on Anthems type show with Kerry and Brian. The last time I went to see them together, they had the place jumpin' :)

A Brian and Roger show would be immense - without AL, PR and the like. Just them. At a (cough) push, Tim Staffell under the "Smile" guise would be nice to see lol.

The likelihood, though, is that we'll get a handful of AL, Candlelight and *perhaps* that pesky album :)
