Wow, didn't realize Going For The One by Yes was on his list of credits, assistant engineer at the tender age of 21. My favourite Yes album. Gotta give it a spin now.

My impression before I knew he was ill was that he really did look like death warmed up in the Days of our Lives documentary; really sucks that he's passed on. Fucking cancer.

I originally read this post Friday morning, hoping that someone maybe had the wrong information. As the day wore on, I read that Jacky posted a statement/tribute on the OIQFC fb page, and then it was like 'oh fuck, that really happened.' Sad to see a talented individual such as David Richards passed on long before his time, much too young. RIP...now you have the chance to work again with Freddie in heaven!
