The Gibson Flying V was used as a spare guitar after BM smashed his John Birch guitar after throwing it over the backline when he broke a string! He was having a bad night. It's strange that in interviews in the past he has said that if he didn't have his Red Special he would have played an SG. Yet the only Gibson electrics he has toured With as spare guitars are the V and a les Paul.

Interesting. Can you link to that interview?
Definitely never seen Brian with an SG. Except maybe in that photo where he's dressed up as Angus ... or was he guitar-less in that one?

Ah wasn't that for his air guitar album? Possibly a blow up guitar? Can't remember
