Roger did mention in an interview that he discovered tapes in his garage, probably where the idea for a box set came from.

At least we now know that John will be in the new Queen project.
you don't know that for sure. John could veto any elements of this that have him playing on it - he's retired and (from various sources) said to be not in favour of all of post 1997 queen stuff. so perhaps if he has principles he may tell them to re-record the bass or anything else he plays on....
he may not of course, but it is possible

That would ironic if there is a chance that a release under the name 'Queen' that IS actually 'Queen, is vetoed by John, but he allows - even insists - that it has a different bassist on!!

Fantastic news, second only to the information that Brian is safe for now.

What do we think, '' let me in your heart again '', " freedom train" ?
'' let me in your heart again '' later was reworked by Brian for Anita Dobson album. Therefore I doubt that this track mentioned Brian. it would be cool if this song was "man made paradise",though I am not sure.
Well, wait and see.

Let me in your heart again started life as a Queen track, and there is a complete Queen version.

Two interesting things on Brian's soap box today. Firstly obviously it's great news that he is clear of cancer and can now move forward, and secondly that he and Roger are working on an as yet unheard Queen track with all four on. I also note that he makes reference to the fact that no 'clever dick' STOLE the rough mix and leaked it....
Maybe if Brian and Roger had pulled their fingers out and released what all fans want....an official album of demos and un-released or unfinished songs, rather than sticking already available tracks on the re-issued albums, then it would have negated the need for people to sneak these tracks out in the first place

I hope Brian & Roger will soon announce one of the tracks, now it is still 'koffiedik kijken'.

Well I take the point that they have not exactly raced to release stuff, but there's a reason why tracks didn't end up on albums, presumably because they felt at the time they were not worth releasing... why would you send out stuff you felt to be weaker than you other material. Plus that's a little like saying if hadn't owned a video recorder it would have negated the need for some shit to break into my house and steal it.

Just because they have something doesn't mean they have to release it if they felt it wasn't good enough
I also noted Brian descriptive word for working on the tracks. "Archeology". Great title for an album IMO.
I agree. It is a bit like an archelogical digging, isn't it? And now I understand why they get all excited about all that old stuff! :-)

This is very promising news. I'm relieved that the track isn't 1991 Freddie humming an unfinished idea he was never able to complete. It's nice to know that they have a 30 year old track to clean up, add finishing touches to, and release. Very happy that John is on these tracks.

I can't wait to find out what else they've been working on. We've heard the stories of the band recording (pick your number) songs from The Game and The Miracle sessions, perhaps they'll make the cut? Whatever they have, I hope these songs, sans the Michael Jackson songs, will feature all four members.
