I love Freddies voice on the albums,
I love to hear Freddie's voice on unreleased demo's
I love to see FM perform with Queen live on stage, and again I love to hear him sing live songs from the Queen catalogue.
I think it is borderline integrity and quite tasteless to get to see any of his private life. This was and still is private to him....
For me this has nothing to do with being a Queen fan.
I cannot be bothered watching Freddie with his friends in a bathtub, or see a very ill man spending his last X-mas.

Though I have a silent super 8mm of John Deacon using the bathoom for a number 2.... anyone interested ? His result was in the end eaten by Paul Prenter....Or let's call him Paul Iskariot...

Freddie wasn't in Japan in 78. Not between tours and recording sessions.

This is how I feel about it too, but each to their own - some people just eat, sleep and drink Freddie and this is just another way for them to get closer to their idol. It's not for me, though.
I agree with you guys. I have e.g. the Garden Lodge videos, but I've never watched them. I simply can't. It feels weird even thinking about it.
^^^ lucky you....I have made that mistake and watched some of the garden Lodge tapes....boring.....sad....strange.....weird...a bit of everything....
