You know we never get enough.........we always want more.

I was just watching FM, MC, sing Barcelona, Elvis sing Unchained Melody, and watched the emotion put into both songs, and got to thinking how wonderful it would have been to have had Freddie, Elvis, and even to a small extent Klaus Nomi still with us today.

Even though both Elvis, and Freddie made sang so many wonderful songs, its still never enough is it?

Barcelona After watching this I wondered if there was anything Freddie couldn't do musically. How far would he have gone were he still here.

Elvis, this one of the last concerts just six weeks before his death in Aug 1977. Take a look at 1:42 in the video. Even though Elvis is overweight he still shows one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen.

Klaus, even though he was dying of aids, and having shortness of breath he still wanted to perform this, his last song in front of his home crowd in Germany. Even though he could barely even walk up the steps to the stage he still gave an amazing performance.

Seems like you are the more emotional type of guy...and there is nothing wrong with it.

Klaus Nomi was brilliant. Too bad we never got to hear his full potential due to his premature death.

I ran across Klaus pretty much the way most did, and that is his appearance on Saturday Night Live with David Bowie.

After reading the comments, which were mostly about Klaus, I got curious, and looked him up.

I was blown away after watching a few videos. So I looked a little deeper, and found that he was on the brink of stardom when he got ill.

There is a doc about him on YT called, "the Nomi Song", and it shows just go big this little guy was before he died.

Even though he wasn't nearly as successful as Freddie, the last video he did, and I posted above, singing, "the Cold Song" was as emotionally charged for me, as watching Freddie sing, "TATDOOL". Both absolutely gave it their all in those two songs.

^true. That "cold song" performance December 82 in Munich...was " breath taking " Here in Germany he wasn`t a star, not even well known to the "rock-pop" audience.

I haven't heard so much of Klaus Nomi, but I like his song, "Valentine's Day." Do you have any tips for other good songs by him?

I was wondering where I had heard the name (Klaus Nomi) before lol. Just looked him up on YT, unfortunately not my cup of tea. Good voice though!

I'd never heard of Klaus Nomi until now. It was very moving watching him. Couldn't help but think of Freddie watching it.

First time I saw a vid of Klaus [other than the SNL vid with Bowie] I really didn't like it, but the songs kinda got stuck in my head so I watched a few more.

It was after watching a few more videos that I was struck by Klaus's incredible voice. He had, and still has the most amazing voice I have ever heard.
