Led Zeppelin received a Grammy Award for best rock album of the year. And Queen?  know this is a stupid award, but Brian and Roger would finally make a new Queen album with archival recordings of vocals Freddie. It may also will receive a Grammy Award? Led Zeppelin rock legend received, Black Sabbath also, and Queen nothing. Tragedy...

honestly, no seriously - have to ask - can i have some of what you're smoking?

Led zeppelin received their grammy for the Celebration Day live album...released during the nominating period

what did Queen release last year that merited any kind of nomination?

brENsKi... If the album will be good (if they will spend it) and will promote well, they have a chance.
I have to say one thing. You still have a pretensions to me. Don't comment and leave me alone. "Great fan of Queen".
You are an idiot for me because you always say something stupid. Always the same. Only pretensions to me.
no life.

So Kacio, which album that came out last year should queen be awarded for? I would be careful with calling other people idiot...

Kacio, that was so wrong. I know what you meant...not necessarily relating to last year, but wondering why Queen have been overlooked in their lifetime. However, to call someone an idiot because they asked you a fair and logical question is a bit OTT. Brenski ain't picking on you. If you want to post on a forum but expect no answers, then you shouldn't post at all.

if there would be an award for most re-issues ever Queen would have won that :-)

No matter about winning awards. Brian and Roger could record a great album with archival recordings of vocals Freddie. I am sure. But they don't want...

Kacio, it won't be great...it may be quite good or even passable - but NOT great....it can't be - EVER

50% of the artistic input and quality control are missing

^ yeah, 50% of the artistic input/quality control is missing...but that doesn't mean that Brian and Roger are not capable of producing something great from what they have to work with.

Hopefully they will :)

Wish I could believe that. But frankly, they will probably unearth something of My Life Has Been Saved standard. Listenable, but not good enough to have made it onto any of the regular albums. A Frankenstein of a record is what we have coming, not Innuendo part 2.

Like Made In Heaven you mean? Even though it's a mess of b-sides, bonustracks and unfinished demo's it is still an awesome album and it is definitely in my top 5 Queen albums. I have my doubts too about B+R doing another "Freddie"-album, but maybe lightning will strike twice...? I'd rather see the two of them collaborating on really new material though. I'm sure Brian must've written more since Furia than Still Burnin', Some Things That Glitter and some of the tracks for Kerry.

@ k-m - what the hell was wrong with MIH? That made good Freddie tracks GREAT.

what's wrong with MIH? ^^^

it's a bit twee, over-sentimental and it really doesn't sound like a Queen album...

It's got some decent tunes on it, and a few sound better on the Cross/Freddie solo albums...add to that Brian's supposed comments about it being "Queen's best album" and I think it's safe to assume that quality control went out the window, when the chief queen passed on
- not a single one of those tracks would've seen the light of day sounding like that - if AT ALL -if Freddie had survived

MIH sounds a little too like "plastic"
