Of course if you want the classic Roger snare sound you will need a Ludwig Classic Maple 6/1/2 snare, however this will be interesting to see what they have done...

I've been waiting 25 years for a Ludwig RT 'signature' snare model to no avail. When I saw this DW one last week I loved it, but it is going to be totally out of my league pricewises; I just hope they release an 'off the shelf' RT snare drum drum to buy though. As Togg points out though, a Ludwig Classic Maple is the way to go.

Seem to be around the £900 mark from what I can see, a retailer is selling one the US for $1499

two of my favorite drummers Neil Peart and Roger! Would be nice to see a conversation between the two. Always wonder what Roger thinks of Neils drumming and Neil's thought on Roger's drumming.
