It has nothing to do with an X-rated photo. It has to do with malicious code (as indicated by the OP's post):

Infected ads, probably. It happens all the time, phys.org had the same problem a few months ago.

I've had issues with this site when browsing on my mobile phone. Some of the adverts here try to install software on my phone without me clicking on the adverts. The software asks to be allowed to read my text messages, contacts, and to allow the software to use my data connection. Do not browse this site on your mobile, very dangerous thing to do.

^ This is part of the reason, aside from power consumption, that I disable JavaScript on my iPhone. There've been so many security flaws with Java in recent times, it's not even funny.
