Not sure if this is the right section to post this, but here's my take on what Bri might've done for this tune had he been asked... !

Hi Bob, That's actually Really Great. One question, who's playing the guitar? Is it your handy work? if so, Fantastic :-)
Indeed, that would be I.

Nicely done, Sir! :-)
there's a feel of the orchestrated tones from ANATO - esp seaside rendezvous...

Nice one, sir ! Your rendition definitely proves that Brian's guitar sound DOES improve the backing track. I forgot how kinda cheap it sounds now by the way... Thanks to Freddie's magnificent vocal performance. Try to listen to the original version right after that... Sounds a bit flat in my opinion. And I don't mean to be disrespectful to The Platters at all, but come on !
I think you should try something with one of the very talented remixers we got here ! That would be excellent !

Oops ! I meant that the backing track was eluded by Freddie's performance... Nevermind... I must be tired.
You've got some chops...well done!
Awesome! Now do all of Mr. Bad Guy and make it a Queen album :D
Also, which version did you use, Bob? I'm trying to sync up the instrumental take with the familiar version and it runs almost 20 seconds faster.
great!

I used the backing track from the Freddie box set, and brought it down to F#, since the modulation to G for the heavy part is a guitar-friendly key.
I added another cycle of the verse for the guitar solo, which should explain the time difference !

BMG. Waaaay better than the old Burns.
Nice. If you could master the usual key, a vocal version would sound awesome! ;)
Really liked that Bob - wonder how long it'll take before someone merges it and passes it off as an official take??
