As the title says. I just flipped and had to post this because my grandmother is watchin the olympics while im computin' away in the other room and what the fuck am I hearing?

Holy shit! Yes! The german ice skater (wearing a blue and black shirt) has a beautiful orchestral version of Who Wants To Live Forever playing as his background music
Im sure someone will find a clip of it on YT or something, but holy shit....I was not expecting this at all

Watching with my wife at times, the ears perk up to various arrangements. I believe an Italian performed to snippets of BoRhap, IWTBF, and WWTLF in the team competition. As was the case again yesterday, 'If I Fell' would have been appropriate.....
The violin yesterday was too high pitched and 'tinny'.
It does the enduring and timeless popularity of so many of the band's efforts.
Interesting choices: an American woman skating to 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', and the Russian gold medal pair to the overture, finale, and other snippets of JC Superstar.
