Yeah I worked with Queen quite closely. Freddie used to sit in the studio and call us. But Roger Taylor and Brian May would come in and argue. Brian wanted the guitars louder and Roger wanted the snare louder. It was a great time, there were great parties afterwards!
I love to read the technical side of the Queen releases just as the MACK interviews.
I remember there was a long interview to David Richards after the release of Innuendo in some Argentinian music magazine, where they even discussed mic positioning and all that during the recording of innuendo. Does that exist scanned somewhere?
Is there a good Roy Thomas Baker , or Mike Stone interview somewhere?

Same here - for a band at the forefront of studio brilliance and breaking boundaries, the technical side of their work is never really covered in any depth, other than the odd interview that we have to hunt down. A Mike Stone interview covering that sort of thing would be lovely.
On the specifics of hte above though, you'd think any major arguments over guitar vs snare levels would have taken place at the mixing stage, not left to the mastering!

How he could remember Freddie if he did remasters for Queen in 1993-1994, Freddie died 1991.

Ozz, the argentinian magazine was called "Musicos", and I think it was the first number of that collection.
I'll see if I can find it in my magazines.

He also did original masters for Queen since 1986. 1986 comes before 1991, meaning Freddie still had about half a decade to live then, and was healthy enough to sit in the studio.
