YourValentine, Richard Orchard, I know you guys have long preferred to keep a hands off moderation approach to this website, but come on, this has just gotten beyond ridiculous! This pretend Russian asshat needs to be banned, 'lest you want this website to gain a new reputation that's about as desirable as an anti-gay law from said country. And this is far from the first topic that he's expressed such offensive comments. There is no acceptable defense for allowing him to keep on posting his vitriol on this website. You said you would look into him several months ago, but no offense, I think you are several months behind doing something actually tangible about this! I am NOT defending RNRO's posts. But anybody who is such a major fan of Freddie Mercury cannot be homophobic. Actually I think RNRO is just yanking our chains. Trying to get a rise out of us all. And surprisingly some of his posts (very few, when he actually has something to say) are well written and well articulated, so I think he is really having us on with the broken English and the outrageous silliness.

Truth be told, other than music remixes, and the occasional cover tune, this site has gone to complete shit. Once upon a time ( I date myself), the only things we had to worry about was the one off CW Baer global internet government crapola. Hell, even I've gotten in on the frivolity, making moving topics, making the whole page move, etc. All in fun, though.

Republicans tend to be intolerant of anything but their worldview that is rarely formed by rational fact.

And if they aren't, that sure is what the long arm of their propaganda machine (aka Fox News) thinks they are - as they play on it 24/7.

I think the site has more to worry about than homophobia.
