Wow, this is cool, and very unprecedented. Tim's manager has usually kept all collaborators out of the Avicii PR machine. It's amazing that Aloe Blacc managed to get some visibility from Wake Me Up, but he's always been his very own PR machine, and apparently does very well with it, outside of the mainsteam music industry. He also represents himself, so doesn't have to pay 15% to a manager. Anyway, this cover is a split of Tim's face on the left, Adam's on the right, with Nile prominently featured in the lower right quadrant. This is far more acknowledgement of his collaborators than Tim's mgr. has allowed in the past, but maybe they've found that the fanbases of Nile and Adam were more than worth it. Looks like it, at any rate, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see more collabs between them. EDM isn't my favorite thing, but Adam likes it a lot, and with Nile in the mix the music takes on a funky soul sound, which I do love, so it makes the EDM much more interesting to me. I hope Avicii does a series of tracks tinged more with this sound, in place of the country-tinged EDM that WMU was.

No dummy, that's a combination of Avicii (Tim Bergling) and Adam's faces! And, yes, you most definitely are a stalker! You don't have anything original and positive to say except to criticize and dump on everyone else's postings. Just why do you hate Adam Lambert so much? What did HE ever do to YOU? Like I said before, go stalk some people at the Thunder website for awhile because you have nothing positive to contribute here! What does it matter if I am sharing information from another site? You don't share anything but negativity. Get a life, icy!

You are losing it, if you have not already.
Stalking you, hey it's public after all. Yet another thing you have used to throw at others, and now me.
Where have I ever posted I hate him? He hasn't done anything to me. Is this a new way you have of defending him and yourself LOL, because it stinks. Come on, I'm still waiting for the proof I'm the cause of many bans on QOL.
You fly into a rant/rage over the least little thing. You copy and paste what is said on Amazon here and on QOL, often with nothing of your own thoughts to add. A mark of a spammer, and a horrible one at that
Get a life sweetcaroline/CNB. You don't have the power to keep me quiet, and clearly that's what you are after.

Snowball is really cool but also freaks me out a bit - I keep picturing his ancestor dinosaurs getting down to AOBTD,
I like the cockatoo perched on the shoulder of the human cockatoo! LOL
They are loving Lay Me Down down under. Here's a convo between two Aussie DJ's:

These four performances show, imo, the breadth of Adam's range (not just in octaves but in vocal abilities and genre):
The first one is A Change is Gonna Come, by Sam Cooke. Adam uses a very large range here, but sings almost completely in his chest voice, even at the highest notes, and even at the top end is completely in control of the notes, with very powerful lung control:

This one, which has a narrower range overall, but is somewhat on the high end, Adam sings almost exclusively in his head voice, with just a few forays into falsetto (at least that I can tell). And more importantly he shows how he can go that high while keeping the volume/projection low, so as to get the tenderness he wanted for the performance:

This one has a very broad range from quite low to quite high, and although he transitions from chest voice to head voice at times, it's almost a seamless transition - very difficult to hear where it occurs, which isn't surprising as most people know what falsetto and vibrato are in singing and can usually figure out what is meant by chest voice, but really don't know what a head voice is. Adam really has excellent control in all three, at a large range of octaves, and can transition from one to the other with very little audible distinction:

This is the studio recording (about twice as long as the AI performance versions, which are arranged differently for the tighter timeframe). In it he uses chest voice, head voice, and falsetto, both at low range and high, with both powerful and tightly controlled soft segments. He transitions from all those categories in what is, imo, an amazing way vocally. It's easier to have control when using a lot of lung power, less easy during very soft, quiet parts, but he's one artist who can do both with relative ease:

taptap, I think "Feelin' Good" goes back to Sammy Davis, Jr. days, but I don't know if he wrote it. Are you thinking of "Soaked" which was written by Muse?

It's actually Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse, English songwriters, but sung by many (love Nina Simone's version). I've made the change in the original post.
Adam is doing another private gig tonight -- in Montana. Last week in Philly; this week Montana -- he sure does get around:

I just posted about that in the 'thoughts on QAL' thread because someone asked about his corporate/one-off fees. I think these two gigs are great fillers between the QAL tour and finishing his 3rd era album. Those, along with other one-off gigs and his Glee appearance should ensure he's in the top 5 on the Forbes AI list again (that list runs from May to May, so the QAL gigs will be reflected in the list after that. I expect that to be perhaps his biggest year of all.
eta: Apparently it's Adam and Bruno Mars both performing.
