Now, now, I'm not in anything with Icy. She's an idiot for all the world to see, and I'll say that out loud because idiots like her don't deserve any better - she chases after it, it's only fair she catch it now and then. It has nothing to do with Queen. she's just one of those irritating online nonnys who whine and cry and try to get attention like little children. There's no conversing with little children, they're gonna whine no matter what, so we may as well be entertained by it.
As to how we are fans, I do what I want, the way I want. I'm afraid FreddieCat is destined to be disappointed in her wishes for Queen right now, because she wants a version of fandom that only exist in 60 and 70 yo fans, not in the generations since then. I don't count icy among fans of either AL or Queen - she's just a troll, and a poor one at that. Let them be with their luddite interest. We can all believe what we want, and no other 'fans' can change that.
In the end it's Adam on the stage with Brian and Roger, and nothing anyone says about wanting someone else - who sings differently, who plays instruments, or who is less flamboyant or campy, will come to pass. Brian and Roger's decision is made, and that's that. The summer tour is set, and it is QAL. The backlash we see now is just those who are angry about those facts. Pay them no mind and let them vent their spleens. They've got a lot of anger bottled up, and it's got to go somewhere. Good luck to them.
