An Excelent thread, but the main question should be? out of all the 26 dates who will be willing to sneek a recorder in & recorded them, so that these gigs don't get lost to the depth of time?

2005 Q+PR (Europe + a few dates worldwide) covered :-)
2008 Q+PR (Europe + a few dates worldwide) covered except Dubai :-)
2012 Q+AL (Europe) covered :-)
2006 Q+PR (North America) Let Down :-(

Come on Guys lets not make this year be like 2006.
Maybe I missed something, but I don't recall any of Adam's concerts going unrecorded by a fan. Often multiple copies show up online (some better than others), and usually they show up within hours of the event. I can't imagine this tour will be any different.
No, I was referring to the lack of concerts getting recorded on the 2006 Queen+ Paul Rodgers North American Tour.

Where-as the 2012 Mini Europe tour of Queen+ Adam Lambert was well covered by all of the "Glamberts."

Hopefully all the "Glamberts" will do us proud again :-) & that is coming from a die hard Queen Fan.

The whole idea of recording a concert while it's ongoing is completely anathema to me. When I see people watching the concerts through their phones, while the performers are right there in front of them, I have to scratch my head. I want to be immersed in the experience of any concert I'm at, not be focusing on the technical minutia. Concerts are an emotional, sensation-filled experience, meant to be lived in the moment.
I'm in the middle ground where I don't record whole concerts, just certain songs. That way, I get some nice video memories without watching the whole show through a camera lens.

I don't do any recording myself, but I'm 99.99% certain that you will get great footage of most if not all of the events, with all the members up close and personal. Not only do most Adam fans love Brian and Roger, but they're also very fond of Rufus, Spike and Neil, so I think you'll get great coverage of everyone.

As the tour progresses, the links will be posted as soon as they go up. Sometimes a great archival spot develops where you can find them all under the QAL 2014 tour heading. If that happens someone will definitely post a link to that as well.

2006 Q+PR (North America) Let Down :-(

Come on Guys lets not make this year be like 2006.
At least half of the 2006 dates were taped. Even more but those don't circulate.

Do they not circulate because of copyright issues?  If Queen is strict about that, then there could be a problem with the QAL vids.  If Queen isn't strict on this issue, they'll all be available online.  I've never heard of any great material that hasn't been made public to all the fans within Adam's fanbase.

yes I know, I've got most of them, but a tour that is only 3/4 recorded is still a let down. In this day and age, where recording equipment is less obvious & more readily available to buy..why do things go unrecorded?....after all this is the digital age.

Say if the 2006 arenas held aprox 12000 people & only one person made the effort to record it, that's still only 0.008% of the attending people. Like I said a bit of a let down. :-(

I'm guessing that many of these new recordings will be incomplete.

Once Brian pulls out his Brighton Rock solo and Adam leaves the stage, the teeny fanatics will stop recording

Anticipate bathroom breaks on BIJOU (if it's played again).... sacrilege if you ask me

Some might (do partials) but there are at least three fans who have done every concert, in full and quite professionally.  You'll get the whole thing, probably at every venue, unless QAL has security shut it down.

Like I said before: it's very likely more was taped but that doesn't circulate.

The fact that you don't have it/know about it doesn't mean it wasn't taped.

I record all concerts I visit and rarely share/trade. Most tapers I know don't share/trade.

When there is a multi-city tour like the one coming up or back when they toured with Paul Rodgers, they should make it their business to have one show professionally recorded for the fans. At the Hammersmith 2012 QAL shows there was a guy right up on the stage filming, but then nothing ever came of it. Whatever is available from those shows were by amateurs in the audience.

Why do you think they should?

This summer tour will definitely be recorded. MSG is a no-brainer, but i believe that maybe another show will be recorded for release. The LA forum is very emotional for Brian, so ... we´ll wait and see!

I expect Queen+Adam Lambert to release a DVD of their American tour .I also expect an album by these guys in 2015. Adam will have time to focus on his solo career and then he can have a go in the studio with Queen. It´s just the next natural step.
I just find it strange if they don´t release nothing BEFORE the tour. It would be a great time for the Hamersmith 2012 DVD.

Oh, and i´m expecting some great professional footage from the Japan and South-korea concerts too. Nowadays, it´s a common place for festivals to be aired on TV, plus expect some great TV shows about Queen+Adam Lambert in the weeks before the shows for promotion, both on Japan and South Korean TV´s. An example would be this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqTpnqei1rs

:-))

And, since Queen like to threat their Japanese fans with a local "Live in Japan" release, maybe we can also expect a Japan only release of their shows there. They did it with Paul Rogers, and i´m guessing they will do it again. The Japanese music market is very unique, and that is great for music fans in general, because they end up with alternative products for the Japanese market.

On a final note, i still think that they will come to tour Europe - they have to do it, right?- and maybe South America. Hungary, Brasil and Argentina are very special for Queen, so i assume they will want to have a go there one more time.

Very special times ahead of us, for both Queen+AL and their fans.
Ten years from now Adam will look back at this time of his life and realize that something very special was happening. And it will be special for both Brian and Roger too, because i think they didn´t expect it to happen again. I´m really looking forward to all the unfolding of this.

As you can see, i have lot´s of expectations :-)

True,

But then again it's one of those hypothetical statements. Do the Unrecorded/Uncirculated recordings exist? I don't know, one can presume they do not, or one can presume that they do..but until somebody tells me that they do 100% exist, I can only work on the data that I have...either way 3/4 of a tour that has surfaced is still a let down..

I've just PM'd you :-)

Thought I'd offer an update on my recording gear situation: So recently I finally got a Roland R-05 recorder, and today I've ordered a Sound Professionals SP-BMC-3 omnidirectional microphone set and a Microphone Madness battery module box to replace the SP-BMC-2 set with the same MM booster box that went to tsskiller a couple of years ago. Which now makes 3 Queenzoners who have a Roland / Sound Professionals combo recording setup (Gregsynth being the 3rd - and hopefully he'll get his Q+AL ticket soon!), which should make for some awesome 96/24 recordings to come :) That being said, I was disappointed to learn Sound Professionals no longer offers croakie mount assembly service, I have to now assemble it myself once it arrives. Hope it's not too hard to figure out...

Ok, that´ll take care of the sound, what about the video? :-) Do they let people get in with those devices or are you going to sneak it in?
