Any Ritchie Blackmore's Night fans out there?

I'm curious as to whether he's ever thrown in any curios of purple into his set lists. Also. ... what would be the "best starting point" in terms of the albums they've put out? ... relying on Amazon reviews can really make for some bad decisions at times.

OR

Is it just as suspect as it would sound on paper? (I.e. crappy)

Just curious.

he still drags the strat out occasionally - usually for old Rainbow numbers...but i remember hearing a version of Child In Time - which was nice - Candice's vocals really suited the song

it doesn't matter where you "dive in" to the BK catalogue - so long as you expect the polar opposite of purple or rainbow you will be fine....

best thing about it? seeing Ritchie "at peace" - away from all that Gillain aggro....i think him and IG really got under each others' skin.

it'd be nice to see one final rainbow tour before he hangs the strat up for good - but it's unlikely
Bonnet on vocals - but he'd never get Airey/glover away from the current Purple tribute/karaoke act that's touring

Tragic waste of a man - they might as well rename the band "Yoko Wins Again".

Saw them live a couple of years ago.

To me there was a rock band on stage, but in control of the folk singing wife.

It was pure tragedy to see Blackmore doing German folk songs.

At some point they asked the audience to request songs and I yelled 'STARGAZER' all over the place : )

On that night they did Temple of the King.

I liked the first couple of records they did, but nowadays it is becoming more and more boring Pop musik in my opinion.

i'm a BN fan. saw them live in 2009 in zagreb on first concert on that tour and also the first concert of ritchie and candice as a married couple. blackmore was in great mood and i had a feeling they played longer than they originally intended.

Who wants to see that? I would've felt cheated. I'd rather see him a calm rage and throw a glass of water at a camera man.

Yeah, but of course, you have no taste whatsoever in music, so basically anything you would want to see/hear is not worth bothering with, and anything you disapprove of is worth checking out.

Well I'm pretty sure if Richie Blackmore went on tour throwing glasses of water at camera guys behind Ian Gilliam it would be more popular than anything I could come up with and will outsell the Queen and Adam Lambert tour. Which is pretty awesome I like Adam Lambert kinda

Ok, thanks for proving my point for me, but just one thing - it's Ian Gillan.

Well I've heard and read from many different sources that Ritchie is an asshole. I never understood why, so the video is a nice example. Were there any explanations what happened at that gig? He refused to go on stage, then fucked up the solo, and stopped playing just so that he can throw a full glass to either Ian or the cameraman, wtf?

I like Blackmore he sounds like my kind of guy honestly lol but from what I heard he thought the camera guy was too intrusive being on stage like that and threw a glass water at him. I love 40 yr old men acting like 2 yr olds. Always hilarious.

Try to learn English before you want to be clever - you will sound less stupid and be less idiot.
