We all know Fred was a cat lover but did you know John has a pet chimp? Or that Roger has 3 octopi? Despite professing to be an animal lover, Brian has no pets at all. The reason? Since his cat died when he was a kid -- a moment immortalised in the song 'All Dead, All Dead -- Brian has pledged never to own another pet.
ps Paul Rodgers has 4 pitbulls and Adam Lambert owns a pink flamingo and a peacock.

I am also guessing that Brian's not "owning" a pet speaks to is commitment to wildlife, leaving animals alone and wild, unmolested.

I see John Deacon about half a dozen times a year in a location abroad, where I have a humble holiday apartment,well off the beaten track I hasten to add, obviously John lives there sometime, and he regularly has a jack Russell terrier and a non descript shizu type in tow.

Really John has a pet chimp? Never heard that. It has been stated in some interview?
Actually it makes some sense becouse he seemed not that much into humans, so chimps were the the next best thing.
And Roger has 3 octopi? What a weird selection for a pet.
Also Freddie had a lot of Koi those japanese fish that he seemed to adore.
P.Freestone said that when they started dying in the small lake he made for them in Garden Lodge he was quite upset.
