By the way listening again MY LOVE IS DANGEROUS in the middle of the interview reminded me how bad the production of this album was.
The sound is like it has been added a "bathroom effect" from some cheap sound card instead of some propper warm studio reverb.

An ideal album to have the 'Barcelona' treatment done recently then?

They reworked Freddie's second solo album in 2012, why can't they also do the first? It could do with a fresh approach to the production surely...

I'll bet DoRo must have loads of unseen footage, when you consider how much is filmed and how little used !

Yes, it would be nice to completely remix that album so that at least sonically it has more power, even if they didn't go as far as re-recording the backing tracks as they have (unneccessarily and ineffectively in my opinion) with Barcelona.

I suppose at least we got Made In Heaven and I Was Born To Love You on the 'Made In Heaven' Queen album, and will have 'There Must Be More To Life Than This' also coming soon on the new Queen release, and potentially more (there is at least a Queen version of Man Made Paradise that exists),

How about Living on my own-1993 remix (No More Brothers Mix) ? Did you like what they did with the track? It has a lot more punch and magic but i missed the bass-line from the original, it gave it an adventurous feel.
The remix however had a lot more clarity to it and shines comparing to the original.

Agree with the above. I like this remix, but I feel it lacks all that scat singing & adlibs which were kinda like Freddie having fun despite all the "living on my own and being so lonely", if you know what I mean. The original had the lonely side but also the fun side by the end. The remix is more repetitive for me. And yeah, also it lacks Freddie's piano improvs. I find original more fun to listen to although it does sound dated.

True but when the song aired to greek radio it was this version

At 2:50 it has a scat singing " ti ra pirim you vra pim pam pim" repeating four times with different orchestration its. This scat is not in the original and i find it quite warm and infectious. The original scat is technically better but had a "jungle feel" that i didn't really liked when first heard.
