I was wondering, does anyone know where I can find an acapella version of Mother Love or a multitrack of the song?

Montreux , go to the exhibition

with a little skill you can extrapolate the "a capella" version processing the two tracks (the original version contained in Made in Heaven album and the instrumental version contained in The Eye)

Here you have it, made some time ago just like Lplix said.

Enjoy!

This is nice :) Can you perhaps create such accapella for other songs too if possible?

Hearing Mercury alone makes it all the more haunting..

Wow.
What software do you use to do all this stuff Matt?
I've been using Audition for years, but never come close to your levels.

You're welcome! I've been using Adobe Audition 3.0 since 2010. To me, the best audio editor and the best version. I'm sure I have some other pseudo-acapella projects over there.

This are some of them, but unfinished, they can be cleaned a lot more. The 'Gimme the Prize' one is the one I'm using right now for the "AKoM HD Revision", and I left the bass in the TAtDoOL one, because it's a really nice combination. A great part of it can be deleted.

Great :) I don't know how you do it. Theoretically I know that tracks must be aligned perfectly and inverted, but nothing ever seems to work for me, I suck at audio, lol.

Once you finish your revisited projects you should definitely make some sort of filtered accapellas compilation :-)

By the way, here's MIH center channel from the Freddie Mercury Video Collection DVD. It's sort of like semi accapella but at least it doesn't have that reverb.

P.S. sorry for hijacking this thread :P

Yes! Those center channels are just great! That 'Made in Heaven' one uses an alternative line somewhere. It's a shame that the 5.1 mixes of the Freddie Mercury Video Collection are flat in comparison to the original songs and are missing some key instruments. Nothing to do with the ones from Queen GVH's. 'Barcelona' center channel is really interesting to hear, some isolated instruments.

Thanks so much! Is it possible for you to do Love Kills Acapella or TATDOOL?
