Anyone know why the Rainbow concert CD set is being put out by Virgin and not Island Records?
Thanks,

I think it had to do with the Universal takeover of EMI, and some of the brand consolidations that took place as a result.

It pretty much happened when UMG took over the EMI group of labels.
Any solo stuff that gets reissued or issued afresh should also probably be with the Virgin logo on it too.[/QUOTE]

Because it is a label product : QUeen is musically signed to Universal : Video is another thing, : eagle eye (No contract!) . This is a combined product so the label of release is up to them to choose.
