I've just searched up Hammy 75 quickly and there's DVD-quality footage out there just from that, so surely that's a plus, and I KNOW I found a full DVD-quality video of the whole concert once. And, much more importantly and agreeing to your point, anyone who has ANATO 30th anniv. documentary will know that there's HQ Hyde Park clips on there! They've been holding out on us waaaaaay too long![/QUOTE]
The whole concert of Hammersmith wasn't recorded. The songs who wasn't recorded are: Seven Seas Of Rhye, See What A Fool I've Been and God Save The Queen, the 3 last songs.

What do we know about '70s Queen archives?
Queen I Tour
Filmed: None
Recorded: Golders Green*
*Do the band have the multitracks? If i'm not mistaken i read they were damaged
Queen II Tour
Filmed. None (some snippets of Rainbow, but i mean full gigs or almost full)
Recorded: Rainbow 74 (March)
* Maybe the last gig at Budokan was recorded in audio too? They have video snippets of the whole gig.
A Night At The Opera Tour
Filmed: Hammersmith 75 - Hyde Park 76*
Recorded: Hammersmith 75 - Hyde Park 76
*Is the video of Hyde Park in good condition? Some sources claim it was damaged at some points, at least the audio is OK, as we could see in Days of our Lives and the ANATO DVD extras.
A Day At Races Tour
Filmed: Earl's Court (But Jim Beach said it is unreleaseable)
Recorded: Earl's Court.
News of the World
Filmed: Houston 77
Recorded Houston 77
Jazz Tour
Filmed: Paris 79 - Hammersmith 79
Recorded: Who knows? At lot of gigs were recorded for Live Killers*
Is a mystery if the band have the multitracks of Hammy 79 or they were stolen.

Is the above correct? I am missing something?

I would add:
Jazz Tour:
Filmed: Tokio 1979 (At Budokan) and a bunch of songs through the whole tour (mainly snippets)
And... Hyde Park is from ANATO tour? or ADATR tour? They did You take my breath away, and in other gigs of that leg (Edinburgh for example) they did Tie your mother down too.

That's right i forget Budokan 79. I am sorry to say this but that gig was kind of awful, so maybe it was selective memory. And about Hyde Park, i think it was the last gig of the ANATO tour, and they did it when they were recording Races, so that's is why they played some song of that album. That year they played Budokan earlier, and the setlist were amazing, one could think with so many gigs at Budokan they will record (in audio) some of them. But who knows?

splicksplack "fras444. I was lucky enough to be at the first night of Earl's Court. It was my first Queen gig so I would love to see this more than anything else.
Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see it in its entirety as a release."
You lucky old bastard I'd give my left one to see that show!!! The shit that I was brought up on... Spice girls, backstreet boys.... atleast I can say (with some bassic maths haha just formed in my mother's belly when Freddie did some of his last live Queen shows, I was present during two Freddie Albums and MIH!!!)
That has to be easily one of the highlights of Queens live performance recorded. As I have said in this post, what with Queen at that bridge in their career and the selection and genre of songs present in that gig and the hits that they had at the time it has to be a must to release that regardless of the so called glitches they had.. It's a demonstration Queen can show todays generation that shit happens on stage and how you just got to be professional and carry on thru and jam it out. Everything about that performance it's just top aces and as I have said, its still got many hits that the general queen fans know of.
Yeah with the release of the 74 rainbow, the hammersmith is what it is, but hey its an 70s show, an important event with the release of Boh Rhap and its march at no1 in the charts, breaking that 3min single hit rule and it show as I hope Brian will tell in the commentary them were battling flus and all doing it on xmas eve when they could be with loved ones... All so too I guess they could do something similar that Led Zep did with some of their cut out songs live at Albert 1970 and have the last three songs on the dvd and have picture's and a commentary by the two describing the encore especially that elusively live song see what a fool I have been and here what Brian can remember about that blues song.
I hope that there is a live recording of that elusive song and the very rare Hangman!!! Anyone know the history behind hangman? particularly from the members themselves about the song and what its true status is..? apart from the "someone owns the only recordings" story.
I really hope they release all possible recordings of their very high in energy in their 30's performances of the 70s and also maybe a rarity's setlist of rarely heard songs live that were recorded from partly recorded/bootleg concerts. Which is something that Queen could also look at doing something similar to what led zep did and ask people for any recording's that they have done and do a release of that footage, show a fans perspective of their live shows
