that was terrific. drowse is a love it or hate it and i love it. i think the part from "out here on the street" until the end of the song is some of the most honest and sad music in the Queen catalogue. thanks very much for posting/1

I've loved this song for 22 years now. My favorite Roger track.
ADATR was my first Queen studio album (along with Hot Space). It's a very nostalgic song with honest and, at times, very poetic lyrics. Beautiful arrangement and an almost hypnotic groove.
Is this even Queen? Doesn't sound like it but it's just as good!

I remember being 12, having just moved cities and listening to this song, fondly remembering "the good old days"... when I was 10, I guess haha :).

The "boy next door" verse gets me every single time.

Great spot ,really good version, always loved this song, it moved me even when I was young, especially on boring Sunday afternoons, but it moves me even more now I'm in my 50's ! If Queen forever is a ballads album this has to be on it ! And wouldn't it be great to hear Roger sing it on the tour.
