Queen albums / tracks with the best / worst sound quality.

I'd say The Game has to be the best album when it comes sound quality. The singing is crystal clear, along with all the instruments - a full-bodied sound to the drums too.

As for worst, that'd be Queen (debut), in my opinion, along with possibly Hot Space and Jazz (Jazz generally sounds flat, the drums are really dud on some tracks too - although the 2011 remaster was an improvement).
The A Kind of Magic album has a bit of a muddy mix also.

I see people every now and then mentioning the Innuendo album as being a bit tinny, but I don't find it to be the case.

My favourite sounding album is News of the World.
My least favourite sounding album is Innuendo.

I forgot about News of the World. It's one of their punchier sounding albums for sure.

the debut album sounds raw - much as it was meant to - this doesn't detract from it's sound quality.

i like the sound on ADATR

As far as tracks i find A kind of Magic and Scandal (12'' version) to have GREAT sound quality.

Can't argue with the 12 version of Scandal. Haven't played it in an age, but I remember well.

Eventually everyone agrees (not argues as mistakenly initially wrote) with Scandal 12'', whenever i bring it up, for whatever ( always postive ) reason.
I dont know why this treassure is still hidden among human race.

I've always hated the way Jazz sounds. I love the songs on them, but some of the tracks just sound "flat". Also AKOM and some tracks on The Miracle.

I think Queen II, ANATO, NOTW, The Game, Innuendo and MIH are the best sounding albums. They all have a great punch to them, and each track sounds great.

I wish Brian's guitar sounded more pronounced. It often sounds muffled on studio albums, that's why I prefer live concerts.

ADATR and News are the best sounding to my ears. Jazz would sound much better if it had a little more punch like News. The old albums (pre-ANATO, and before the remasters, where they sort of fixed it a bit) had a very distorted drum sound, the last ones sound like most of the 80's productions.

I agree with you about some tracks on The Miracle. For example, Khashoggi's Ship and Invisible Man sound fairly good, but I can't say the same for I Want It All.

Another good recording has always been The Works.

I found that the 2011 remaster of the debut to be an improvement.

Jazz has the worst sound to my ears. I bought it in 1978 and hated it immediately. The songs are great but the drums were too thin... no punch to them.
New of the World, Innuendo and Queen II I think are the better sounding
