What is QTV?

I have seen a few concerts with a "QTV" watermark. Does anybody know what QTV is?

At the conventions I attended there was a special channel, who broadcast Queen concerts as the Hammy, '75 and '79, Wembley to name a few, the logo was QTV, which stands fot Queen Television.....

And Caviar And Cigarettes, that isn't a watermark. A watermark in semi-transparent.

Because it was also one of the videos shown at a fan convention.

Ye that's correct, they were shown on QTV at the convention, and pirated hence the QTV stamp.

Sorry if I'm disturbing but why the AOBTD video shown in Rare Live have some parts with QTV and some parts without QTV? I mean, if they have the original video, wasn't necessary to show the QTV logo.

Or Live Crap is a mess in himself and is horribly done?

Rare Live doesn't have the QTV logo.

But it does have the "9" logo. That was imbedded into the footage by the TV station.

Probably all the common concert videos we've seen, from Rainbow to Houston to Buenos Aires.

Rainbow 74 - the VHS cut
Hammersmith Odeon 75 - once with the timestamp at the top, once with the timestamp at the bottom
Hyde Park 76 - once with the watermark, once without it
Earls Court 77 - first night
Paris 79 compilation of 3 nights - once without the watermark, once with it
Hammersmith Odeon 79 - edited, without the watermark
Argentina 81 - once without the watermark, once with it
Queen unseen - a compilation of various clips, mostly from 1979
Queen unseen part 2 - a compilation of various clips mostly from 1979 and interviews
all officially released videos

Houston 77 was shown at Breakthru in (I think) 2003 in Cleveland. The green-ish generated version that then circulated about a year later.

Hmm, I'll just keep telling myself that correlation doesn't mean causation..

I was at several Breakthru conventions, and the Houston concert was shown at least two of those years.
