Indeed. And ATRAC = lossy.
Any serious collector wouldn't archive on minidisc.
Expecially since we live in a day and age were portable hard drives cost next to nothing.
Of course, things were different in the past, but it might be a good reason to restart archiving the 2014 kind of way.
