Thanks a lot for sharing this Nitroboy. Downloading now.

I'm downloading the 25fps version of this now.
The more stuff people produce from the audio I originally uploaded the more glad I am I shared it. I still can't believe no-one else has an off air FM tape of it, I mean half the planet tuned in to listen (slight exaggeration).
If anyone wants just the audio, I'm still seeding both my original share and Ale's corrected version. Since the Queenzone tracker is down, I've added more trackers for Ale's version (see the thread linked in the first posting of this thread for link, see my last posting on that for the extra trackers to add) and you can find mine through DHT or Peer Exchange (Ale created a Private torrent so no DHT or PEX).

I have a full 16 hours long audio recording of Live Aid and an almost full video recording of BBC's Live Aid broadcast, so different versions DO exist. But I have a feeling yours is a bit better

Having watched this now, the syncrhonisation works very well. And this is how I watched it on the day, the mono sound on the TV was muted and we were playing the FM stereo sound as well as recording it. Ah those were the days, when you could simulcast something and actually be certain they'd be in sync (impossible today with the various delays in digital systems).
Thanks for this, it brought back memories.
At least for this recording my mum didn't complain. When I recorded things off FM Sterero I used to turn the central heating off because if the boiler turned on there was a burst of interference which wrecked the recording. In winter the house could start to feel cold during recordings and my mum complained, but I usually persuaded her it mattered that the recording was good. I didn't do very many, only one or two per year so I think she just humoured me.

It seems the Queenzone tracker is working again, so no need for extra trackers at the moment.

Same problem in a german household. If someone switched a heater on or off, it results in a clack/crack noise on recordings.

Thanks! Very nicely done.
What is the main differences from the official sound from the bluray?

I think the biggest difference is that you can now properly hear Freddie, especially in the choruses of We Are The Champions. You can hear Spike Edney's synthesizer at work in Radio Ga Ga (and it sounds wonderful), Brian's guitar sound is much more raw compared to the official mixes.

Thanks to Nitroboy for the synchronization, gracias a Ale Solan por la remasterización, and thanks to OwenSmith for the original and cold FM recording. ;)

thanks for your work Nitroboy!
is it me or I heard a few gaps between songs?
I'll give it a listen again late nite and double check that, cheers ;)
