People make jokes at funerals (not that this is a funeral, but anyone would think so the way you're going on). Is that enough reason alone to assert they didn't love whoever's passed? Not necessarily, no.
Comedians joke about inappropriate things all the time. So what? Does that in itself make them bad people? Same answer applies.
