Most listened to Queen album....as opposed to most favorite

My all-time favorites are SHA, ANATO, ADATR, NOTW, and Innuendo......but I only listen to them 1-3 times a year.

My (our) most listened to Queen-related disks are adjusted 'Miracles', 'GH 3', 'Horizons', and, thanks to the Q+AL tour, Queen 'Reworked'.

We'll listen to these 6-12 times a year. Why? We don't know. Anyhoo, for critiquing pleasure.

Interesting question in that I would usually say Queen II was my favourite so I agree there is a distinction between favourite and most listened.

Most listened to - A Night At The Opera for me, largely because I've done shows as part of an ensemble playing it note for note, which requires a hell of a lot of listening to dissect all the parts.

Favourite? Queen II, ANATO or Made In Heaven, depending on the day you ask.

MIH (minus YDFM and 13 minutes of Track 13)....comes in at #7 of most listened to here.

There.....so, now answer my friend. Favorite LP as compared to most listened to.

(btw...if I could find the thread you started eons ago.....I don't know who has had a longer single than LP version (IWTBF), but The Beatles did do an entirely different 45 version of 'Revolution' as compared to the LP version.)

My most listened to album IS my most favourite: Queen II

I'm hardly going to listen to NOTW the most when it's NOT my favourite.

Quite a good question followed by something like a Spotify playlist. Anyway, having thought about it, I guess I hardly listen to them at all! It's all in the head and I have no need whatsoever to hear it, in order to actually enjoy it. Occasionally, I put GH2 on, because it reminds me a bit of that magic of growing up with Queen as a kid. Otherwise, it's just random songs I occasionally feel the urge to have a listen to or the weird YouTube stuff, like "Love Kills" with AL or bonus tracks from the 2011 reissues.

In the nearly 40 years I've been listening to Queen, QII is easily my most listened to, but I'd say in the past year or so, with the exception of numerous live bootlegs, SHA goes into the CD player or queued on my iPod more than any other studio album.
