I don't think I'm talking to the right people here, as we appear to have mercifully few believers in this kind of crap here, but let's give it a try anyway, there might be one or two:

If you believe in Illuminati-conspiracy theories, you are buying into reactionary ultra-Catholic propaganda from the 18th century that was meant to discredit rationalism and the rise of secular society. The same conspiracy theory was rehashed by the nazis, and that is where modern adherents get their version from - so if you are a believer in Illuminati-crap, you are getting your information straight from Joseph Goebbels' office - a "Jewish-Bolshevist conspiracy against the Aryan people". These conspiracy theories are usually spread by far-right and neo-nazi websites in an attempt to get support from the paranoid and the gullible. Don't be one of them.
