Hi,
I read somewhere that the backing track in Radio Ga Ga is similar in one of Roger Taylors solo songs. Do you know what that song is called?
Thanks!

Isn't that Coming Soon and Good Times Are Now?

'Love On A Tightrope' by The Cross has some very similar sequenced keys parts on it, and 'No More Fun' from Electric Fire has a loop that is somewhat related too.
I definitely read an interview with Roger saying that he actually used the same 'Radio Ga Ga' synth or sequencer somewhere on 'Fun On Earth', but I'm not sure off the top of my head that it stands out, so may have been used but for a totally different sound.

Moog do you need by any chance a Yellow Handkerchief ;-)

It is Up, from FOE. I remember reading the note somewhere that he had used the same synth-thingie after 30 years.
Very cool track.
Overall, Roger has the most consistent (and prolific! ) solo output in Queen.
Even his guitar player (Jason Falloon) has a somewhat distinctive sound that I totally associate with Roger.
The Cross ranges between so-so and mediocre but even there you'll find a couple of gems (HFE, New dark ages, etc. )

Even though I am wearing a chequered shirt right now that the other people in the office feel compelled to call me 'brokeback' when I have it on, a yellow handkerchief is definitely not necessary.
Thank's for asking.
