Hi all!
A nice video talking to Brian's roadie and Brian about his equipment used during the current tour. Gives the usual history of the RS but also discusses his replicas, amps and effects. Pretty cool.

very good one!
the most interesting fact for me is that brian still plays with original sixpences. as it was said... they don't wear out. in opposite of his own ones which become unplayable after a few sessions.

I've used the ones made in the 40s, and they lose their serrated edges too.
Maybe he just holds it differently from the rest of us. He doesn't get the black residue on his thumb from the constant metal on metal.

No...I have been on this forum for years. I rarely post and only post stuff that interests me.
For the aussies out there, I have started experimenting with a 10 cent piece. Does anyone know if it is comparable to the coins Brian uses?

The Aussie 5 cent coin works just as well for me. Never used their 10 cent coin however...

Pretty much any coin with a serrated edge will do the job.
