If Rainbow release will be regarded as a financial loss because majority decided to download it for free, then I doubt we will see such release in the near future. Why the hell the person who decided to leak it couldn't wait week or 2 after the initial release date....

Curse of the internet I'm afraid : ( on the positive side, my box set has arrived, watching the DVD now at full blast, sorry neighbours, its just fantastic, I know we all moan about Queen Productions, but with The Lot, Queen at 40 and this they've done us proud the last couple of years. More please.

Absolutely agree - some people have no idea how to behave. Putting a torrent of something official such as 'Rare Live' (for example) is one thing - it's obsolete and for most unobtainable - but to put up something like this a couple of days before it hits the shops is just taking the piss.
Go out and buy it and encourage QPL to release more of the same, not give them an excuse to give up cos 'we' all keep stealing it.

The pre-sale at amazon.ca has sold out. I don't think they're overly concerned about problems with sales at this point.

Speaking of which, I just logged in to check the status of my order, and the 4LP is now showing a new release date of Sep. 23rd on Amazon.ca. Not impressed! I don't have a good feeling about the Deluxe Boxset either at this rate, even though it's still showing today (the 9th) as a release date.
Though I feel your pain I must say that I'm happy that this seems tone a success. Opens up the possibility for more 70's stuff

Especially when the date change happens on the original date OF release.
Apparently the local HMV stores should have at least 1 Deluxe set per store (West Edmonton Mall HMV should have 3) for $10 more than what the Amazon presale price is at, according to the HMV store inventory search. Heavily debating about that, however I definitely am not keen on paying $80 for the 4LP set at HMV so will keep that through Amazon.
