Well, is it another 4.1 mix being sold as 5.1?

If it is that's all to the good. 4.0 is best for music. The .1 does little harm as it can be turned off, there's usually bass on the main speakers as well as the subwoofer channel. But adding a Centre channel thus making it 5.0 or 5.1 blurs the front soundstage. Plus most people's Centre speaker is not the same as left and right so there is a tonal shift when instruments move across the front soundstage, not good.

Queen surround mixes are usually very low in the Centre speaker if there is anything there at all, and this is to be applauded. Others should take note.

That doesn't answer his question, Owen...

XD

Owen, concentrate in the main theme, the question. He don't want to know what system is best.

You are right, but giving an incorrect answer.

^ Yes, please. For the sake of god! We don't want to see that fuckin' video. If we wanted, we will open the thread you opened and watch the video. If not, we don't say nothing about it or don't see it. It's fuckin' easy...

I ripped two tracks (Now I'm Here + Guitar Solo) with DVD Audio Extractor and at least on those tracks all the channels are used. As to the quality of the mix and the panning of instruments, I guess it's a matter of taste...
